What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"How well the group interview goes depends largely on the other two applicants with whom you interview. " -Posted 01/08/2007 | Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Introductory session led by Dr. Ira Schwartz, dean of admissions, who set a great tone for the day. Very relaxed and friendly, made you feel good. The group is split up into 2 groups of 9, half of whom interview and half of whom go on a tour. The tour takes you to Grady and Emory Hospitals, which could not be more different. The food in Grady's cafeteria is really good - fried Southern food, mmm mmm, great for patients who just had a triple bypass. There are two interview sessions - a group three-on-three interview (one of whom is your student tour guide) and an individual interview with a faculty member. My individual interview was GREAT - not Q&A but a true conversation. The group interview was a bit awkward." -Posted 01/08/2007 | Report Response
