LizzyM, longtime SDN member and medical school admissions committee member, is the inventor of the LizzyM Score.
LizzyM Score = GPA*10 + Pre-2015 MCAT
Your MCAT score is converted using the following MCAT Table , which is built into this calculator.
This thread provides details on the LizzyM score: Essential SDN Wisdom for Pre-Meds
The score allows you to see how likely you are to be accepted to a medical school based strictly on GPA, MCAT score, and AAMC admissions data.
If you use this as your sole criteria to select medical schools to apply to, you don’t deserve to get in anyway.
The AAMC has released limited aggregate data on the 2016-2019 application cycles which we have incorporated under this section of the application assistant. Please note that because this data is limited we cannot offer all of the interactive graphs and analysis we provide for the data from 2013-2016. We recommend exploring both data options to allow you to make the most informed decisions. We expect new data to be released at the start of 2019.×
