What do you like most?

"I liked the clerkship, it was well run and McMaster clinicians teach well and care. There is a good balance in clerkship between service and learning." | Report Response

What do you like least?

"I disliked the anatomy, and I also disliked the way that electives were scheduled, they were too early on in the clerkship, leaving students underprepared for rotations." | Report Response

What are the facilities and clinics like (old/new, well maintained, etc.)?

"The facilities are generally pretty quality, the medical school is brand new, the hospitals though could probably use some updating." | Report Response

How do students from this program do after graduation - are they adequately prepared for practice?

"They do well after graduation, mostly landing good residencies, I would say average for a Canadian school, which is impressive since it is a 3 year program." | Report Response

What are rotations like?

"The rotations are fantastic, just a great place to do clerkship" | Report Response

How do students from this program do in the Match?

"They tend to do reasonably well, it really depends on the year and the type of student, but generally speaking McMaster does well for a 3 year program, it probably sits around average though overall. We tend to match the second highest number of students to Toronto after UofT itself, but that is also because we are closer and have more GTA students." | Report Response

Any other information you want to share?

"Its a great school, always keep in mind that you do have the option of doing a MD MSc to give you a 4th year, but for the 3 year kids, you want to make sure you find out what you want to do soon, time really flies in this school." | Report Response
