What do you like least?

"Believe everyone when they say this school doesn’t care about its students. Most of the programs are barely accredited or constantly at risk of losing accreditation status which is ultimately at the expense of the students-the school will make choices not at all in the interest of individual student outcomes but in what will save the school’s numbers-evidenced by apparently forcing repeat years with a practice Step 1 exam and restricting when students can apply to residency based on whether they’re up to the mark or not. They publish a high Step 1 pass rate but many students are not even allowed to attempt Step 1 unless the school allows it so don’t get the idea that students are passing easily and timely. Curriculum is poor and the school is managed worse than my middle school was. Don’t be fooled by the impressive match list either-successful students here were bred to success for reasons completely unrelated to this school whether that’s through family connections, being tippy top students to begin with, who just had some personal reasons for staying local, or any reason you can produce that has nothing to do with the school itself. Crummy and getting worse everyday. Useless admin that are harsh and unkind towards students-they don’t know how to handle anything because they are used to having a bunch of 19 year olds running around from the ex BSMD programs. Now that they have actual adult students they don’t know how to manage a sophisticated adult institution" | Report Response

"The curriculum is terrible they started doing this PI think and I learn nothing there and waste 3-4 hours of my day there. On top of that there is a ton of busy work that makes it even worse. The students keep telling on each other to the admin over petty things making the experience even worse. The admins don't really care about the students and don't take us seriously. Feels like I am back in elementary school. If you want a nice school that will actually support you avoid this school. Got bullied by other students talked to the admin about it and didn't care as well. If you actually want to do well on step and get into a good residency would avoid the school like the plague." | Report Response

"Students are treated like a number here. The mental health and well-being of students is not prioritized. The curriculum is objectively awful as the accreditation offices are constantly giving the school low ratings and closely monitoring them. I would highly recommend against attending this school. Very few medical students have a satisfactory experience during their 4 years here." | Report Response

"Location, BS/MD program" | Report Response

"Absolutely everything. Tuition going up every single year while services to students decline, we closed our physical fitness center last year, they took away our student lounge, and they also took away several parking lots. Somehow this means tuition should go up. Go figure." | Report Response

How do students from this program do after graduation - are they adequately prepared for practice?

"Really varies -every medical school is going to have successful students but that doesn’t mean the school was helpful in that-there are top-notch grads from here but most will tell you they did everything all by themselves." | Report Response

"Most students are prevented from reaching their full potential as future providers." | Report Response

"They do just fine. Every year a handful make their way into competitive subspecialties. About half end up in internal medicine." | Report Response

How do students from this program do in the Match?

"The stats show that students match below the national average. Very few students get into competitive specialities because the school restricts its students in major ways." | Report Response

"Well." | Report Response

Any other information you want to share?

"This school does not put its student’s best interest in mind when making executive decisions. Very bad curriculum that is slow to adapt to change. The problem likely stems from the administrators who come off as extremely clueless." | Report Response
