"Early clinical exposure, seeing patients in first month of med school through volunteering and preceptor"
"Broad exposure to pathology- rotations through urban academic center, cook county hospital (huge inner city safety net hospital- clinical experience here is unbeatable)- plus opportunities to work in inner city health clinics and suburban ambulatory primary care"
"clinical curriculum is excellent as Rush is a top hospital in the country. Definitely a hidden gem as it does not have the name recognition of other places because it is a small school with no undergrad or large grad programs. Also very down to earth classmates who are engaged and like to learn, but also have a good time. Not a class full of pointdexters."
"I love the the faculty, the students, and the location. The faculty will bend backwards to help you. They are extremely accessible and really want to make sure you are learning. The same can be said for the students. There is no feeling of competitiveness - everyone wants to see everyone else succeed and is very down to earth. Chicago is also an incredible city and they are building a whole new hospital!"
"close-knit community"
"The people"
"Residency programs loved the Rush grads they had during my interviews which was a huge positive"
"Rush selects for interesting people with a variety of cool backgrounds and thus tends to have lower MCAT/GPAs, but the class is made up of awesome people with diverse interests. Clinical training is excellent- you graduate feeling prepared."
"excellent"
"it's really good. the profs do all that they can to help you pass and understand the info. they give you complete syllabi for everything you need to know, which makes studying much easier!"

"Overall great. Pharm instructors werent great m2."
"For the most part above average, particularly anatomy and pathology."
"Of course there are good and bad, but overall I am extermely impressed. No matter the lecture style, all faculty is very accessible outside of class and want to make sure students succeed. One teacher shows up at the lecture hall every saturday morning and is online every night before the test for questions. Others may not go that far, but are very responsive to questions and are more than happy to make appointments outside of class."
