What impressed you positively?

"Strong alumni results; they are around of their "New York Letter" which seems largely ceremonial" More from this Member | Report Response

"the interviewer, the video, the office, the pride they take in Match Day" More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewer was extremely nice and seemed genuinely interested in my application. They remade the promotional video, and it is really informative and made me excited about the school. The office was also beautiful." More from this Member | Report Response

"interviewer was really nice, seemed really knowledgeable about the school (sackler Alum), and left me with an even more positive impression about the school" More from this Member | Report Response

"how happy the alumni who interviewed me was" More from this Member | Report Response

"Interviewer was an alumnus (recently graduted, doing residency at Cornell) so I enjoyed hearing about her personal experiences at the school and in Israel. The interview made me realize that I could fit in very well at Sackler, even though I had some doubts before the interview." More from this Member | Report Response

"interviewer is an alumni and spoke first hand about his experience going to sackler and getting a residency in the US" More from this Member | Report Response

"Very frank discussion about pros and cons of the school" More from this Member | Report Response

"the people who work there are really nice." More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewer had a lot of information to share" More from this Member | Report Response

"It was at a regional location. So a neutral impression at the most." More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewer was very nice and she seemed interested in what I was saying." More from this Member | Report Response

"There seems to be a huge emphasis on clinical rotations, which puts TAU graduates ahead of their American contemporaries. In the US, the wards are geared mostly toward residents, but Israel is different in this regard. There is much more attention given to the third and fourth year students, and this leads to more self-assurance in residency. " More from this Member | Report Response

"They seemed pretty organized and very nice. " More from this Member | Report Response

"How seriously they take their academics and reputation, this is definitely NOT a diploma mill. Also they are chartered by the state of New York so if you apply for residencies in that state, you are not considered a foreign grad." More from this Member | Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Poor website" More from this Member | Report Response

"can't seem to think of anything negative" More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothing" More from this Member | Report Response

"honestly, nothing!" More from this Member | Report Response

"Video-tour could use a little updating" More from this Member | Report Response

"the interviewer was an administrative person, who never went to sackler." More from this Member | Report Response

"Not much with the interview per se. I wish Sackler had informative packets to send to its applicants and a much more comprehensive website." More from this Member | Report Response

" I wasn't asked very many questions. The interviewer seemed unfamilar with my application." More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewer. She obviously did not want to be there and said so "the only reason I'm here is because they begged me to come today and do interviews." She did not try to make me feel at ease." More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothin at all" More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewer didn't ask any questions. I was given the opportuntity to ask all the questions i had about the school." More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewer had not even read my sketch, and proceeded to skim it with me sitting beside him. I got the sense he had very little interviewing experience. Gave a fairly negative impression of the school. "Everyone at Sackler has something wrong with them," referring to the fact they couldn't get in to a N. American program." More from this Member | Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"That I could have done my interview in Israel." More from this Member | Report Response

"that the offices are on the first floor of a brownstone (rather than a doorman type building with a lobby), so-if you wanted a minute to make a phone call, best to do it before you walk in!" More from this Member | Report Response

"how laid back the whole process was" More from this Member | Report Response

"That the absence of choice is the worst kind of choice." More from this Member | Report Response

" The interviewer has little influence as to whether or not you will be accepted. If you are invited for an interview then you have a good chance of being accepted." More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothing" More from this Member | Report Response

"I did not realize that their clinical years were so strong. During your rotations they dont make you do the usual 'busy work'. Instead, you work with the chief of the department (not an attending) and you are allowed to actually participate in surgical procedures, not just observe!" More from this Member | Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Really great school and fantastic interview process; I wish their website was better organized and had more information" More from this Member | Report Response

"Not stiff or high stress at all - I only wish acceptances (or decision letters in general) weren't sent out so late" More from this Member | Report Response

"Much more organized than I expected, really laid back and personal, very conversational interview, they just want to get to know who you are." More from this Member | Report Response

"really loved the school - it was/is my first choice (over US programs!), and the interview only reinforced my positive feelings." More from this Member | Report Response

"laid back, more of a conversation then an interview. I probably asked the alumni more questions then he asked me." More from this Member | Report Response

"very relaxed " More from this Member | Report Response

"i came half an hr early and the lady took me 15min earlier then my intended interview. she asked me to ask her questions. i asked questions for about 40 min or so and then she asked me about 4 questions, gave me a contact sheet of current students and we were done. then i watched a short video about the school." More from this Member | Report Response

"The interview was held locally, in Los Angeles. My interviewer was a pleasant. conversational family practioner. He was informative about the school in particular and the field in general and did not hesitate to be encouraging and supportive. Thankfully, no classic questions like: name your qualities/faults etc.... " More from this Member | Report Response

"More of an informational session than an interview." More from this Member | Report Response

"It was very lax. The interview was not an interview, but more of a conversation. I was pleased to hear the TRUE facts about the school and it being in the state of Israel. Fellas dont buy into that CNN crap.." More from this Member | Report Response

"very relaxed, straightforward. The interviewer was very nice and genuinely interested in what I had to say. He was mostly interested in making sure I could make the transition to living in Israel" More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewer was very friendly and clearly enthusiastic about the school (he is a graduate, and seems to have made a good career for himself). He seemed very interested in my experiences, and was very open to my questions about the school and what I can expect upon graduation. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Interview was strange because I wasn't asked many questions. The interviewer just wanted me to get a feel for the school so i carried the convo." More from this Member | Report Response

"I was very prepared, knew I was a good candidate, but was quite unimpressed with both the interviewer and the admissions staff (rude on the phone and quite cold in person.)" More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall, it was great. The night before the interview, there was a 2 hour info session led by recent grads and it was obvious that their enthusiasm for the program was genuine. The interview itself was like an informal conversation, the interviewer really puts you at ease and tries to get to know you." More from this Member | Report Response
