The Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Pharmacy, located on the campus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The College of Pharmacy represents a significant addition to the Texas A&M Health Science Center (HSC), which has exhibited dynamic growth in recent years. The College will be a learning-intensive, student-centered, ability-based educational program.

Curriculum

THE CURRICULUM OF THE HSC-College of Pharmacy is designed to provide the student with the foundation to be a general practitioner who possesses the core knowledge and skills needed for the provision of pharmaceutical care. The minimum total instructional time for the curriculum requires six academic years: two years of college-level pre-pharmacy followed by four years in the College of Pharmacy.

THE TEXAS A&M HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, located on the Texas A&M University-Kingsville campus, was created in response to the shortage of pharmacists in the border region.
