"The administration goes out of its way to be supportive of their students although it's too early to gauge how useful it will be. They try hard though and I appreciate it." | Report Response

"I felt like the professors were very accessible in the first 2 years. They were sure to give us plenty of time to prepare for Step 1. The clinical faculty are typically very engaged in medical student education, particularly at ECMC, the VA, and BGH." | Report Response

"The Dean and everyone who work in Medical Education. Tney honestly care about the welfare of the students. Many professors host weekend help for any student who wants it." | Report Response

"The opportunities." | Report Response

What do you like least?

"-Lectures are not oriented towards "high-yield only material," so integrating proper USMLE review is really on your own time. -Current (pre-2018) facilities are a bit run down. -Residencies associated with the university are going through a change to revamp quality. However as a medical student, this won't effect you too much." | Report Response

"Very little support to the student. Blacking on things that student did not do or was right. Office of medical education was terrible" | Report Response

"There are so many typos in lecture notes and a lot of problems with lecture recording. It's also very far away from the big cities." | Report Response

"Too many hospitals in the clinical years. I was mainly at Children's and ECMC, but during the course of my MS3 year went to 5 different hospitals." | Report Response

"The weather is cold." | Report Response

"Some students are arrogant." | Report Response

"It's a decent place to go to school and it's not very competitive although people do like to do well." | Report Response

"I felt like UB was what you made of it. I did well on my boards, got research experiences that I wanted, and went to an excellent residency in my chosen field. It is not a high-pressure place, so self-motivation is important if you're at UB. Also, the school leaders are very approachable and a great resource." | Report Response
