More from this Member | Report Response

"Wonderful interviewers, extremely casual interview" More from this Member | Report Response

"The new building is AMAZING. Very high-tech. The old building is being renovated and will look like the new one." More from this Member | Report Response

"It was very laid back. The faculty and students were all very nice. All the students had positive things to say about the school." More from this Member | Report Response

"The students are very down to earth and all about helping us out and answering our questions." More from this Member | Report Response

"The confidence that the faculty and students have - they know the school is good, and they don't have to tell you that every few minutes. They allow the reputation and the caliber of students speak for itself." More from this Member | Report Response

"The friendliness and excitement of the staff, students, and professors. " More from this Member | Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"They let the current pharmacy students ( about 70) swarm you in the little meeting room you're in. It's supposed to feel welcoming, but it's a trigger for people with social anxiety issues." More from this Member | Report Response

"only toured the pharmacy building. Parking is inconvenient." More from this Member | Report Response

"Every answer I got from administrators and students were about how the staff brought food for the students, yet the interviewees weren't even offered water," More from this Member | Report Response

"nothing!" More from this Member | Report Response

"The facilities were not as impressive as I was hoping, the tour was lacking, one of the students giving the tour was great; however, the other did not seem very motivated. I wish UGA had more of a medical campus and less of an undergraduate focus" More from this Member | Report Response

"I felt like the lack of questions/length of the interview only gave them a small glimpse into who that person really is and what their motivations are. I was asked a total of maybe 8 questions but i prepared for over 20." More from this Member | Report Response

"I came away totally impressed - nothing negative about the experience." More from this Member | Report Response

"Essay. Waiting around for interviews & only get to talk to P3 students." More from this Member | Report Response

"Waiting around for the other candidates to interview." More from this Member | Report Response

"I did't like the essay portion prior to the interview." More from this Member | Report Response

"NOTHING" More from this Member | Report Response

"one of the interviewers, she was playing with her hair and fingers while I answered all the question. I have never met an interviewer that's this rude. She knew nothing about me, did not read my file at all, this was supposed to be an open-file interview" More from this Member | Report Response

"Construction and traffic in the morning around the college. Parking garage fee. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothing really." More from this Member | Report Response

"No tour or a formal presentation from faculty. Just watch the powerpoint slides on the laptop. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothing much. The building is a bit old, but they're going to have a new one in a year or so." More from this Member | Report Response

"They asked me so many questions I just kinda felt like I was being interrogated, but they said they were trying to determine if I had "insight." I just answered the questions as comfortably as I could, in a conversational manner. (the only interviewees were one girl and I, so they said our interviews would probably be longer than the previous day's interviews)." More from this Member | Report Response

"The building is a little out dated." More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothing really. The facilities are a little dated, but very well maintained and much better than the other schools I have seen." More from this Member | Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"You do NOT need to bring your ID, resume, portfolio, pens or pencils, or a briefcase. A small purse at most." More from this Member | Report Response

"you are being recorded by cameras the whole time" More from this Member | Report Response

"They offered no food or drinks" More from this Member | Report Response

"How at ease the admissions staff makes you!" More from this Member | Report Response

"Relax, come prepared with LOTS of questions for the students (no pressure), small size of the facilities" More from this Member | Report Response

"I felt like i knew exactly what was going on. If I had a question of the agenda, I just asked the people running the interview" More from this Member | Report Response

"They offer no food or drinks. Parking lot is not connected to Pharmacy South building." More from this Member | Report Response

"My essay topic" More from this Member | Report Response

"You are not scored on any part other than the essay and the actual interview. So relax." More from this Member | Report Response

"The one-on-one interview was actually 2 people asking me questions. " More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewers read your essay right before they interview you." More from this Member | Report Response

"Have to write essay. I would be nice I know the topics ahead of time..hehe.." More from this Member | Report Response

"Being prepared to talk about my PCAT experience." More from this Member | Report Response

"nothing too surprising" More from this Member | Report Response

"The reality of negotiating the traffic in and around Athens/UGA." More from this Member | Report Response

"That the interview is actually very laid-back and not stressful!" More from this Member | Report Response

"Bring a pencil for the essay, they only provide pens. I had to borrow one." More from this Member | Report Response

"Nothing. I had interviewed last year as well, and was wait listed but not accepted, and I knew the questions that they would ask." More from this Member | Report Response

"There was construction all around the building, it was difficult to get to." More from this Member | Report Response

What are your general comments?

"It sucks that your actual interview is less than 30 minutes, but they make you wait for everyone to finish theirs for no reason what so ever...I was there 3 and a half hours." More from this Member | Report Response

"Great school and faculty. The girls in the school of pharmacy are super HOT!" More from this Member | Report Response

"Pretty friendly school. Since Dr. Wolfgang interviews everyone, he actually asks personal file related questions." More from this Member | Report Response

"The staff was genuinely friendly and interested in YOU. That made me feel welcome and at ease." More from this Member | Report Response

"The whole process was very well organized and went well. Very friendly school." More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall a good experience. The pharmacy students you get to talk to are really nice and answer any questions you have pretty well" More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall I came away even more impressed than I already was. The staff, the facilities, the campus - it's all better than I thought." More from this Member | Report Response

"Asked to write a short (1 page) essay on a question. We each had a different question. Watch short video on school, go on tour, Then went to different room for interview, returned to the room we started in. While I was waiting, talked & asked questions to pharmacy students - they answered openly." More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall great experience." More from this Member | Report Response

"students come in to keep you calm while you're waiting to go in for your interview...wonderful campus, staff and students" More from this Member | Report Response

"It was an easy day. Not much walking. Pharmacy students were fun to talk too. I laughed a lot before my interview." More from this Member | Report Response

"I'm sure most interviewers are nice and I think I just had bad luck" More from this Member | Report Response

"No tour of current facilities. Everyone had to write a short essay on a different question, watch a powerpoint presentation, and then personal interview. " More from this Member | Report Response

"They try to make you feel at ease and relaxed, which really helped me get through the interview (I'm horrible at interviews). Basic process: you come in, watch a video about the pharmacy program, write an essay on a given topic for 30 minutes, and talk to current pharmacy students while you're waiting to be interviewed. The actual interview is about 15-20 minutes. Advice: Ask questions to the interviewers and pharmacy students. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall great. I like the friendliness of the faculty and the students. Nice campus!" More from this Member | Report Response

"Very pleasant. All the students were taken to a conference room and given different essay topics to write about for approximately 30 minutes. Then students were taken on one-on-one interviews for 25 minutes at a time. During that time, current PharmD students came in to talk to us about everything and they were very nice. During the interview, I was asked very straightforward questions such as ''What are your hobbies?'' ''What experience do you have in a pharmacy?'' ''What are your goals 15 years from now''. " More from this Member | Report Response

"it was very good! not nearly as bad as i thought it'd be" More from this Member | Report Response

"We introduced ourselves, sat at a big table, and were asked to write a short (1-2 page) essay on a question. We each had a different question. Then, I was taken back to a different room for my interview for 15 minutes, returned to the room we started in, and the girl went for her interview. While I was being interviewed, she conversed with the 3 pharmacy students present, and I did the same while she was gone. We were encouraged to ask any questions about UGA and the pharmacy experience." More from this Member | Report Response

"The interview was pretty simple...they didnt ask me anything too difficult or extraordinary." More from this Member | Report Response

"1) Brought into room and given 45 min. to write an essay. My topic was (How do you measure success in school?) 2) Students (1st, 2nd & 3rd year) come and answer questions while you wait to be taken to your interview. 3) Interview consists of 3 professors that ask you about your background and review your file. " More from this Member | Report Response

"Very positive. I got worked up for nothing - it is very laid back." More from this Member | Report Response

"They try to make you feel comfortable. They want to get to know you." More from this Member | Report Response

"I was very nervous before the interview, but I quickly got over it. The professors engage you in pleasant conversation from movies, to sports, the program, your background - they seemed more interested in you as a person than your accomplishments." More from this Member | Report Response

"My experience was very good. The interview was early in the process, and they said I should know something around April or so." More from this Member | Report Response

"They try hard to make it low-stress. There were 3 students total interviewing this date. They put you in a conference room and give you 45 min to read and article and write about it. Then students come in to talk to you and let you ask questions, while they take each person and do the actual interview. It is a very conversational atmosphere."
