"Read this site, mostly." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"(1) The town itself. Pittsburgh is a friendly place, unlike most big cities. (2) The curriculum, which is half problem-based and half lecture. (3) The students, who seem to get along and hang out a lot together. Some are usually found at the bars in Squirrel Hill or ShadySide on Saturday night, so if you are there you might want to head over." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The day is longer than it needs to be. There were not enough 3rd-year students to eat lunch with, but that wasn't a big deal." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"That I wasn't as polished as I could have been, but that probably did not hurt me. Prepare, people!" Report Response

What are your general comments?

"If tuition were not an issue, U. of Pitt would be my top choice. The interview is low stress but I did not leave with an idea of how well I did. From what I hear, the interview is just part of the equation and it will not make or break you. " Report Response
