"So how was the difficulty level of the classes b/w the community college and the 4 year school you attended?" Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most interesting question?

"So what about boys? I mean do you date? This question didn't seem too kosher but I answered it anyway and it led to a pretty interesting discussion of the arranged marriage system stereotypes." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"Would you agree that most doctors from other countries come to the U.S. only for the money? This was interesting because I strongly disagreed with my interviewer's view point on the issue but he seemed to like that I was sticking up for my stance." Report Response | I was asked this question too

"Read school's prospectus, went over my personal statement, went for a mock interview session at the career center.ouls" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The new teaching hospital is very state-of-the-art. They have a combined MD/MPH program that can be done in 4 years." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I went on an exam day, so most students I talked to were pretty stressed out. Also, apparently the faculty may not be as personally involved as touted by the admissions ppl." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"It is cold out there and carrying an umbrella at all times is a very good idea!" Report Response

What are your general comments?

"My first interviewer was a second year student who asked me pretty standard questions. She was quite friendly and helpful despite having an exam scheduled an hour later though. The second interviewer was a veteran faculty member who initially seemed hell bent on stressing me out but mellowed out later." Report Response
