What was the most interesting question?

"The interview was very low stress. I interviewed with a physio faculty member, Professor Levine(?), who was very nice and pleasant to talk to. We had a infomal discussion about basic questions, like why you want to be a doctor and why this NYMC. I don't recall any interesting question." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"I felt the most interview question was why I have no healthcare experience. I felt it was hard for me to explain why I wanted to be a doctor without any real exp. Other then that, there was no difficult questions. He did not try to trip me up or ask me any ethical questions. It really was low stress, except for the fact it was my first interview. How did you prepare for the interview?

"I was nervous, so I did everything I could to make sure I was ready. I read up on the US healthcare systems vs other healthcare systems (Canada), bioethics, the school, etc. In hindsight, I would still have done the prep, more just to have something intelligent to so, rather then trying to dazzle someone with knowledge. Just have a informed opinion and you should be fine." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"I am a NY resdient and I already wanted to attend NYMC anyway. Compared to other schools I visited later on, by far, the campus was my favorite. I am not a city person by anymeans so I wanted to go somewhere more rural. It still has many places to go, but it helps to have a car. I also liked the anatomy lab (brand new) and the dorms. The other dorms I have seen were not that great and in most cases, you end up with a roommate. I spent the night at the dorms the day before my interview with some students, it is a suite setup where you get your own room. I also liked the way the classes were set up, very good toward helping you prepare for the board. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The only thing I need not like is the high tuition. " Report Response
