What was the most interesting question?

"Everything question was about my file, like... I read in your file that you did this... tell me about that experience. It was a very pleasant conversation with both." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"I didn't get any tough questions. One of my fellow interviewers that day got asked what he would do if he was the CEO of a major health organization....he said "shoot myself"" Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"SDN, read about the school (I wasn't asked why do you want to attent the UofU)" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The school is actually in the hospital and all the hospitals there including the UofU, Primary Children's and the VA hospital, as well as a few others are so closely linked. Research opportunities." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The interview day was kind of hokey... not as elaborate and organized as other schools. I don't really have any complaints about the school." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"While the curriculum appears to be very traditional, there are alot of opportunities to volunteer in clinical settings where there is usually a great amount of responsibility placed on the student such as interviewing the patients and deciding what tests to order and then reviewing with the doctor what you want to do." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I don't know that I could have asked for two better interviewers. The first was a fourth year student the second was with a peds emergency medicine specialist from the children's hospital. I feel that I got lucky because both interviewers were well matched to my interests." Report Response
