How did you prepare for the interview?

"Read books -- if hadn't the stress level would have been 10 because I wouldn't have known any of the answers." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The interviewers didn't seem to want to humiliate me, as I had been led to beleive! They did seem to listen to my answers and treated me politely. And, I as asked about my own personal reasons for med school and about my file (also wasn't expecting this per se)." Report Response

"Didn't really get to meet very many students." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"The turnaround time is very quick after you interview." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I would say the interview was akin to a masters thesis defense for an MPH. My own doctor was shocked, friends who work in medicine etc were shocked. "This is a med school interview? Are you sure?" Yes, I am sure. Yes, it was difficult. Yes, I would have turned into a puddle of shame and humiliation if I had not been reading books for days the NYT and talking to people. I said positively impressed by experience, but that does not mean the interview was by ANY means easy." Report Response
