What impressed you positively?

"The students seemed happy and interested in a broad range of topics. MCG seems to be updating its curriculum to include more PBL and give earlier clinical experience. Some of the facilities (Children's Hosptial, etc.) were really nice and new." Report Response

"Augusta is a small and extremely socially/politically conservative town. If that's not your bag, watch out." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"First of all...my interview date may be wrong. I can't remember when it really was so I guessed. (So don't freak if the date I put is actually a saturday. I really did interview there. This isn't a troll.) Although the interview impressed me positively--by which I mean I liked the school more than I thought it would--it still struck me as a bit smaller and more southern than I'm looking for. I get the feeling that MCG is more about training folks who will go on to be docs in regional hospitals and private practices around the south. Which is great (seriously! don't get me wrong) but it's not exactly the experience I'm looking for. Plus, I grew up in Atlanta and went to school in GA so I think I'm ready to live somewhere new. Seeing MCG confirmed that for me. But the people there were so nice I actually felt really bad that I wasn't more interested in the school." Report Response
