How did you prepare for the interview?

"Read through my AMCAS app, EVMS app, and SDN. Also talked with lots of students throughout the tour about the interview." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The tour of the school was the best one I've been on. We had a long tour of the children's hospital, went all through the med school including the anatomy lab (where we actually got to see the cadavers), met lots of students, had a thorough financial aid presentation, and overall just got a really good feel for the school. The students all seem genuinely happy, friendly, and supportive of one another, and the children's hospital is amazing. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I had to wait for 2 hours after the tour for my interview, which was just annoying. Also, it just seems unnecessarily stress-inducing to have the panel-style interview, instead of one-on-one." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Lots of walking. Wish I'd worn flat shoes!" Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Although the actual interview was kind of stressful, I came away from the day loving the school. I was pleasantly surprised at how happy all the students seemed, despite it being finals week. In general, it feels like a small, supportive, fun environment. " Report Response
