"My student interviewer asked if I had applied to any other schools, and if GW was my top choice. Neither of these are generally permissible questions." Report Response

What was the most difficult question?

"My faculty interviewer really pushed on "why medicine". He seemed to be looking for a specific answer that I wasn't providing, although I had prepared extensively for the question." Report Response

"Reviewed AMCAS, secondary, GWU website." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The facilities and general program are all very impressive. The students themselves were also very willing to talk and had little negative to say about the school." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"My faculty interviewer. He seemed distracted and in a hurry to get me out of his office, and actually cut me short after giving me an opportunity for questions at the end of the interview." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Diversity is a big deal here. As a white, male applicant, I actually felt fairly out of place, and I didn't really meet any other students like me, strangely. It wasn't a huge deal, just something to be aware of." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I was fairly turned off by my faculty interview, to the point where it made me question whether I wanted to actually go to school here. It just left a bad taste in my mouth at the end of the day." Report Response
