"Talk about your MCAT. Any questions for us?" Report Response

What was the most interesting question?

"Nothing out of the ordinary. They started out by asking me about my EC activities, which really put me at ease." Report Response

What was the most difficult question?

"I was so prepared for even the most difficult questions that I could imagine, but they were not there to put me on the spot. They even said we are here to try to get to know you a little bit more. I suppose the most difficult would be when they asked me about my MCAT..but again, if you go in prepared, nothing will catch you off-guard." Report Response

How did you prepare for the interview?

"The usual... student doctor, mock interviews, web-site" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The facilities are great! And a large number of the students choose to do an MD resideny. I enjoy the fact that the classrooms are mixed with students form the DO class, the pharm class, ... sort of different, yet effective. The dean was super nice and cool! Very supportive environment and really want you to succeed as a doctor! Evryone says the Anatomy faculty is wonderful! " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Nothing... I went into this process with a positive attitude and came out of it with one too. It's what you make of it! " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"The acceditation committee was there, so things got kind of scrambled. Dr. Chaffin briefly spoke with us, as he had to attend his own interview with the committee. A lot of waiting around due to this, but the others who were interviewing with me were very friendly! If we all got in, then I would be a happy student doctor!" Report Response

What are your general comments?

"It went well. I knew a lot about the school already, so I was at ease at the start. The tour was not so good...like I said the accredidation committee really confused the day. Everyone was nice..tons of students out and about. The campus is beautiful and the lunch was good. They do let you know their decesion in 7 days... I was fortunate to be accepted! The school offers so much and I am excited to be apart of the class of 2004." Report Response
