"One of the interviewers asked me whether or not I was familiar with the development of a consortium of top industry performers to deal with the problems of the uninsured. The question really wasn't difficult, I was just unfamiliar with the subject. Although my background is in Health Policy and Management I am not familiar with the consortium." Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"SDN, school's website" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The interviewers appeared to be interested in my comments and often nodded in agreement when I addressed a particular question." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I got mixed messages regarding the school's commitment to diversification. The staff informed us that one of the school's missions is to diversify their student body. However, when I spoke to one of the students she commented that the student body truly wasn't as diversified as the school made it out to be. In particular she commented that there truly aren't as many African Americans in the classes. That was a bit disconcerting for me because I am an African American." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The interview went smoothly and was low stress. I interviewed with a Ph.D, an M.D. and a 3rd year medical student. After reading some of the comments posted on this website I was actually preparing myself for the worst. However, I didn't need to. I came away feeling that it was best interview yet (this was my 4th interview). " Report Response
