"What is the biggest difference in the practice of medicine here vs overseas (I volunteered overseas for some time)" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"nothing really...there was basically one question in the beginning (what made you decide that medicine was for you?) and the rest of the hour, it was related conversation" Report Response | I was asked this question too
"read my amcas app, sdn, current events with the new york times " Report Response
"the happiness of the students!!! it seemed like the whole first year class came to greet us when we were going for lunch. it seems to be a great atmosphere to learn/live in. some professors even came down to say hi. the research track is excellent for people that are interested in research, but dont want to do a PhD (like myself). very impressive facilities and the stats are AMAZing. before i got there, i thought that the 9-5 interview schedule would be unnecessary, but robyn and denise do a great job of organizing the day and it is well worth it! i enjoyed every minute of it. STAN (living, breathing robot) was very cool too" Report Response
"nothing. i am not sure of the criteria that they will use to differentiate the interviewees, since everyone came back saying that the interviews were very conversational and very relaxed." Report Response
"that my interviewer would have my ENTIRE amcas application in front of her (mcat scores, letters and all). slightly intimidating at first and made me wonder if mcat scores/grades would influence her opinion of me..." Report Response
"all in all, it was a very exciting day and i would love to be a student at UF. this was the first batch of interviewees for the 2005 season, and i was so excited to have a chance to go here!" Report Response
