What was the most difficult question?

"Give me an example of how you are a caring and compassionate person. The physician had first asked what qualities are important for a physician and when I mentioned being caring and compassionate she asked if I was and how I could show her. It was difficult for me to articulate how I am an empathetic person, but I used volunteer work at Shriner's and my compassion for the children to try to have her understand." Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"Yes, I went on studentdoctor.net and reviewed past interviews as well as rehearsing questions I thought might be asked." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"It was a bit disorganized in getting to the interviewers, since my first interview went over because we were running late." Report Response

"That it is really comfortable and laid back so there is no need to stress out over it. They really are just trying to get to know you since the interviewers don't know anything about you." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"One of the two interviews was with a fourth-year medical student so it was completely comfortable and conversational. The other interview was with a physician and primarily she wanted to know about volunteer work, research, my motivation, leadership, and my humanism with medicine." Report Response
