"Why is it that nobody gets an A in Ecology? (I had an A- and he said he sees a lot of that but never any A's) Weird thing to ask." Report Response

"No real difficult questions. They didn't even press me about the classes I did poor in. The hardest was "Think about a difficult time you had to make a key decision and tell me how you made it and how it affected you?"" Report Response

How did you prepare for the interview?

"This website. Resources in my schools pre-professional office. I reviewed my own file and application. Talked with a friend who goes there. Shadowed a Doctor who graduated from there three years ago." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The faculty and students are wonderful. The students are tight knit and have an all for one, one for all attitude. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"You are in the middle of no place, and the school could stand to update its facilities." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Most students only stay in Kirksville two years. Then most leave to do there rotations at hospitals around the country. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Very laid back and comfortable. The first interviewer I had a hard time getting a read on but the second put my application down after 15 minutes and said he had already made up his mind (I took that to mean a good thing). We spent the next hour talking about ourselves, medicine, debt, the midwest, I really liked the guy." Report Response
