What impressed you positively?

"Honestly, I was most impressed by the warmth of the learning environment. Before my visit I knew about the excellence of Johns Hopkins' faculty, facilities, and curriculum. However, what left the biggest positive impression on me was the people. Every individual was brilliant, yet inspiring and unique. These are the individuals that anyone would be honored and proud to call colleagues." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Perhaps the only negative aspect of my visit was the frantic period between the tour and the first interview. I would have liked a minute to collect myself, but such a detail was minor indeed." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"I discovered that I truly love almost everything about Johns Hopkins! This may sound over the top, but Johns Hopkins really does an amazing job of selling their program during the interview day." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I was simply blown away by Johns Hopkins. From witnessing the collegiality present between the fellows and the other physicians during a Grand Rounds session to interacting with the current students, it is readily apparent that the greatest asset of Johns Hopkins is its medical community. As such, they invest greatly in making sure every member is as well trained as possible. The curriculum includes journal clubs, clinician shadowing, traditional lectures, small group sessions, and several special courses (like Physician and Society) that cover the issues that will become increasingly pertinent to the profession. I cannot say enough good things about my interview day, the curriculum, and Johns Hopkins in general. It was a great honor just to visit such an amazing institution." Report Response
