The student body appeared to be very active, with many of the students talking about camping trips, tubing, pick-up basketball games, etc... Though there may be a self-selection bias in those who volunteer to lead tours and conduct interviews, I was surprised to find that each person with whom I spoke hoped to stay in Charlottesville for their residency."
