"I read over my AMCAS application, went through the school's website and looked at the websites of a couple of the hospitals they are affiliated with. Also looked at SDN." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"How the students interacted with one another--the learning environment seemed non-competitive, and students really seemed to help one another out. Also, my interviewer and all the people in the admissions office were so nice and incredibly enthusiastic about the school. I was also impressed by the involvement of students with health-related activities outside the classroom. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The Bronx." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"I stayed with friends in Manhattan, which was great, but I wish I had been closer to the school since the subway doesn't really go there as far as I could tell. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"I really liked Einstein. The people I met there (admissions office, students, MDs and RNs in the hospital), were all very friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about the school. The interview was very conversational, and I felt like I could have talked to my interviewer for another hour or two. " Report Response
