What was the most interesting question?

"My interview was really unique. My interviewer told me that he had read my entire application from cover to cover, and then he invited me to talk about whatever I wanted. He told me that he wasn't going to ask me any questions, but rather let me decide what to talk about. He told me I had one hour to talk about whatever I wanted that wasn't already in my application file. " Report Response

How did you prepare for the interview?

"Read my AMCAS and secondary applications. Read USnews.com's description of the school. Did some research on healthcare issues and current events. " Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"How happy the students were b/c of the Yale System. I also really liked their anatomy lab; it doesn't smell and they have what they call "surgical anatomy." Each anatomy lesson is based on a surgical procedure; it's really cool. I also liked that they get Jewish Holidays off." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I really don't like New Haven Airport, and traveling to New Haven is really long and difficult. The bathrooms in the dorms are CO-ed. The weather is cold and gloomy. Yale is the only attraction in New Haven; there is nothing else there. " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Bring lots of warm clothes. Coming from the West Coast, I wasn't used to the cold weather. " Report Response
