"SDN, looking over TMDSAS and personal statement and a few interview questions" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The students and the general environment didn't seem that "competitive and cutthroat" as other students from other med schools portray. There was also a great amount of intramural sports and other kinds of student life offered. Finally, the medical students' video presentation is a very creative idea!!" Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"First interviewer asked random questions (even though he was nice) and asked me if I was nervous (I had to explain myself that I wasn't)" Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"Nothing really. I live in Dallas and been on UTSW and its tours before so I knew what I was expecting to see everything they offered (except for the random questions fired by the first interviewer)." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The overall interview experience was great - the students and faculty seemed welcoming, and the tours of Parkland and Children's Hospitals were interesting. The area seems to be not too messy compared to Houston. " Report Response
