"SDN, developed answers to the ''typical'' questions (why medicine, what are your best qualities, example of when you were compassionate, etc.)" Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The admissions staff treat the interview as if you are also interviewing them. Before the interview you speak with them and they literally say, ''If you get multiple acceptance letters, we want you here. What can we do to convince you to come to Iowa?'' Also, they have a 5-year program so you can stretch out your M1 and M2 years into 3 and take a lighter course load." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Parent's income MUST be included on FAFSA to be eligible for UIowa grants & scholarships, even if you're married and have kids of your own." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Awesome. While the interviewers weren't able to speak during the ''structured'' part of the interview, I could tell during our discussion during the ''unstructured'' part of the interview that they really wanted to get to know more of me in order to make a case for me to the admissions commitee (interviewers aren't part of the committee at Iowa). They genuinely seemed interested in me." Report Response
