"Many of my Asian brothers and sisters were there! Represent! I like the big campus atmosphere, even though you have to walk around a lot. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The clinic and there were only about 8-10 seats for students in their "sim-lab." I saw this as a pathetic attempt to keep up with other schools. The professors seems to be on a "high horse." While visiting the labs I stopped paying attention to the student tour guide and heard a student on the clinic floor complaining about how his instructor is biased and favors other students. lol. This is not a good impression of UCSF and it makes me wonder if students at other dental schools feel the same way. It's a pretty scary notion." Report Response

"I wish I had known the interview was going to be a waste of time. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The Dean claims that you'll have a "great education at UCSF," but from what I witnessed at my interview I saw nothing that backed that up. Instructors were rude and arrogant, the pre-clinic and clinic were terrible, and most importantly students were unhappy. Does research really give a school a great repuation? If so, then UCSF must be known for that only. But, I don't want to be a researcher, I want to be a dentist. " Report Response
