"None of the questions were even remotely interesting or even well thought out. It was like they had a list they memorized and that's all they asked." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"Why do you want to be a dentist? This was only difficult because I had to stop from laughing because this was the question that you had to write an essay about before your interview. That immediately made me wonder if they had really read through anything in my file besides just the numbers." Report Response | I was asked this question too

What impressed you positively?

"All the students were very friendly." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Although the students were friendly, many of them I had to wonder why they had been accepted. Some of the students who led my tour may have had high grades, but had no common sense and not a lot of personality. I know I wouldn't let some of them work on me! It was also painfully obvious that UFCD very much favors certain races over others." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"I wish I had known that ALL UFCD cares about are your scores--that's all. They only interview as many people as they do because they have to. They have already made an acceptance decision about you before you ever get there. Also, most students they accept went to undergraduate at UF. I also learned that at undergraduate at UF they advise students to major in food and nutrition so that they can have excellent grades, but no real scientific background." Report Response
