"All the same you've seen posted in other feedbacks. They used a standard form. They will use the same questions all year. They do this to keep a level playing field for all applicants in a cycle. " Report Response | I was asked this question too

What is one of the specific questions they asked you (question 2)?

"Why osteopathic medicine? 5 year old playing with hammer hurts hand, what do you do? Why the northwest? How do we fix health care? etc" Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"Your greatest weakness? grrr, I hate that one. Be honest, I was (maybe to much) but I got accepted, so no harm. " Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"Read feedback. Again, a low stress interview. Best advice? Don't freak out. " Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"School has very caring faculty. " Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Very new. Lack of full accreditation. Still much work to establish the school. Also, since they rely on private donations, I foresee issues with the downturn of the economy. " Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"If you rent a car, go drive the mountain passes. Beautiful! Also, bring a book or something to read. There is a few hours wait while the interviews are going on. " Report Response

What are your general comments?

"The school has promise. If they can achieve their goals, I'm sure it will be a very good place to learn rural medicine. They are very dedicated to the northwest, so don't go here thinking otherwise. " Report Response
