"Why do you want to go into medicine?" Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most interesting question?

Report Response | I was asked this question too

What was the most difficult question?

"A question about whether I would "burn out" in medical school (the question came from something I mentioned in my personal statement)." Report Response | I was asked this question too

How did you prepare for the interview?

"Looked over SDN's Interview feedback section, read EUSM's website, tried to think of any and all weaknesses in my application in order to anticipate tough questions, thought about answers to all typical questions (tell me about yourself; why medicine? etc.). I did not script answers because I wanted to be as natural as possible during my interviews. However, I did make a list of the things I wanted to convey about myself for the various questions I expected them to ask." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"Everything: the admissions staff, the deans, my interviewers, my fellow group interviewees, the current students, the campus, the facilities, the curriculum, Atlanta." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"Medical school is very expensive, and Emory is no exception. Also, Atlanta's public transportation system is less than satisfying (that said, Emory runs a number of free shuttles for its students to get to popular locations)." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"I should've eaten a more substantial breakfast. The unlimited supply of cookies and Coca-cola products was nice, but not particularly filling." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"My day at Emory was great. The admissions staff and interviewers did their best to make the day as pleasant as possible, and the current students went out of their way to make us feel welcome on campus." Report Response
