How did you prepare for the interview?

"I read this website; panicked a bit; studied PBL curriculum;relaxed and did something to take my mind off of the interview." Report Response

What impressed you positively?

"The people. Everyone is there for the right reason. Additionally, the curriculum seems very self-directed and non-competitive. I really enjoyed the experience." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"I almost got hit by three different cars while visiting Springfield. The school itself was great. I've heard Carbondale can be somewhat dull. I'm not sure how I feel about the aggressive populace of Springfield." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"I wish I had a better answer for how I heard about the school. I answered honestly (MSAR->State School->PBL=excited), but I could have sworn I saw a little disappointment with my answer. He seemed excited about all my other answers." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"This seems like a great environment to attend medical school. The students seemed very happy. People would randomly smile at me (noticing that I was interviewing). A couple of MIII's approached me and talked to me about their classes. The school population is really warm and tight-knit." Report Response
